The vast syllabus of Cost & Management Accounting is divided into 4 steps –
CMA Foundation is an entry-level test in order to pursue Cost & Management Accounting Course. The course is much similar to your 11th and 12th standard (Commerce stream).
CMA Foundation syllabus is divided into four subjects –
Paper 1: FUNDAMENTALS OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT
Section A: Fundamentals of Economics (50%)
Section B: Fundamentals of Management (50%)
Paper 2: FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING
Section A: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting (80% )
Section B: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting (80% )
Paper 3: FUNDAMENTALS OF LAWS AND ETHICS
Section A: Fundamentals of Commercial Laws (70%)
Section B: Fundamentals of Ethics (30%)
Paper 4: FUNDAMENTALS OF BUSINESS MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS
Section A: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics (40% )
Section B: Fundamentals of Business Statistics (60%)
CMA Intermediate will be your next level in this journey after clearing CMA Foundation. Some students who are graduates or postgraduates can also apply for the CMA course through the Direct entry Scheme at the Intermediate level. The syllabus in CMA Intermediate is comprehensive and this thing makes this level the challenging one. CMA Intermediate syllabus is divided into eight subjects. The eight papers are divided into two groups each consisting of four subjects.

Practical Training is the most important part of CMA Curriculum and also referred as a golden period in the CMA students journey. This is the last step in the Cost & Management Accountant Journey and students are expected to have a professional level knowledge. After completing both the groups of CMA Intermediate one can register for CMA Final.
